The Gathering Place provides support and resources for individuals and families impacted by cancer. It's like a second home for those facing the challenges of cancer, offering a warm and welcoming environment where people can connect, find comfort, and access various programs and services. The Gathering Place offers a wide range of support programs  such as support groups, counseling services, educational workshops, and wellness activities such as yoga and meditation. They help cancer patients, survivors, and people with loved ones going through the cancer process. They focus on emotional, social, and spiritual health. They host events and fundraisers that bring people together to raise awareness about cancer-related issues and support the organization's mission. As a volunteer (13+), there is a short process you will need to go through to be able to help. After that, you may do things like greet in the reception area, help in the children's programs, help tend their garden, and work at The Gathering Place Warehouses
