Homelessness
Serving our neighbors with dignity and care.
Why it Matters
Thousands of people in Cleveland face housing insecurity every night.
It’s not just about shelter, it’s about stability, safety, and belonging.
🏙 23,000 people experience homelessness in Cuyahoga County every year.
🏠 On an average night in 2022, there were 1,331 homeless households in the county.
⏳ People without housing die 30 years sooner on average than those with stable homes.
⚠️ They are 3–4 times more likely to die prematurely than housed individuals.
“There will be deaths, there will be families that will be harmed, there will be people that will be missing loved ones” - Josiah Quarles
