Homeless Hookup is a non-profit organization whose main goal is to help restore dignity for impoverished individuals. They do this in many different forms. One way that they achieve their goal of restoring dignity is by providing emergency packets that contain hygeine items and other seasonal items. Homeless Hookup also organizes monthly events which bring together volunteers and homeless individuals in order to provide care and form connections. While providing essential items for the homeless, it also gives these individuals a feeling that they belong and are valued. As a volunteer, you may be doing things like packaging Hygiene packets, or helping at an event. At the event you may interact with these individuals in need of help. Through any of the experiences you volunteer for, you will learn how to foster a loving environment for everyone.
