Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center is one of the largest and most respected therapeutic equine centers in the United States. Located in Chagrin Falls, this facility serves around 900 students annually. Since its founding in 1978, Fieldstone Farm has positively impacted tens of thousands of lives, improving both emotional and physical well-being. The center provides a safe and supportive environment where individuals can experience the healing power of equine-assisted activities and therapies. They offer a wide range of programs tailored to different needs. These include therapeutic riding, carriage driving, and ground-based activities. Participants include children, adults, and veterans. Fieldstone Farms boasts hardwoods, serene lakes, and scenic walking trails. The natural surroundings contribute to the healing and calming atmosphere. As a volunteer, you need to fill out an interest form, and may be asked to do things like grooming and tacking horses before riding lessons, assisting with harnessing horses for carriage driving classes, leading horses during riding lessons, or walking alongside horses during lessons to provide encouragement and extra support for our students. You may also work with students in the classrooms and barn, helping them learn about horses and participate in horse-related educational activities
